My approach is informal and active. I listen intently, care deeply, and use everything I can from my training, experience, and personality to help clients create change in their lives. I am active in offering suggestions and possible solutions, and I encourage clients to become better skilled in managing their lives and relationships. I call upon clients to actively participate in behavioral and lifestyle changes, including readings and other activities between therapy sessions. After all, as the saying goes, “If you keep doing the same things over and over, you’ll keep getting the same results”.

I believe that wellness involves the whole person — physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual. And healing must take place in those areas to relieve suffering and find happiness.
I use a variety of techniques, both traditional and innovative: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Couples Counseling and Relationship Enhancement, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Energy Psychology/ Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
